Our
Organization
As The W Realty Group,
we are committed to being a best of breed real estate
brokerage firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. Beginning
in the summer of 2000 as a real estate investment
firm, we got our start through the purchase and management
of income producing properties. Our passion for real
estate investments became widely known within our
own circles. Due to popular demand, we have since
moved into the world of residential brokerage. Our
focus has moved solely to helping buyers and sellers
of residential and investment property to achieve
their real estate goals. Though our own goals have
shifted, we continue to view each transaction as
an investment decision, leveraging our investing
background for our clients’ advantage.

About Us
A home is typically the largest investment
that an individual will make. Hence, as the success
of our founders became apparent, future clients
expressed interest in working with a broker that
truly approached real estate from an investment
perspective. Through word of mouth, The W Realty
Group quickly became known as an honest, professional,
and knowledgeable firm that helps it clients to
make the right decisions about buying and selling
real estate.
Maria
Wurtzbacher, Realtor and Broker-in-Charge,
is a graduate of the University of Connecticut.
She is
a
former teacher
of the Gaston and Cabarrus County school systems, testimony
to her ability to provide advice to families on choosing
the best schools in the area. Maria adds a personal touch
to the home buying experience and strives to make her
clients comfortable upon their first meeting. Her ability
to truly
listen to the client’s needs and match them with
the right home comes naturally for her. Not only does
Maria help her clients find satisfaction in their new
home, she also streamlines the home buying experience
to facilitate a smooth transition.
Scott
Wurtzbacher, Realtor, is a graduate of
Bucknell University and has a financial planning
certificate from Florida State University. He has
many
years of experience as a business and technology consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers,
IBM, and Bank of America. Scott’s ability to assist clients in understanding
the facts and the financial data associated with their investment is his
greatest asset. He has developed numerous tools for researching and analyzing
the critical information needed to buy, sell, and manage real estate investments.
Scott has also acquired a strong talent for identifying ways to enhance the
value of a property through minor and cost effective improvements, a sure
way to win big in real estate.
